My First Holiday
Mummy and Daddy
took me on my first holiday in May. We spent a week in
Benidorm with Nannan and Grandad, Auntie Amy, Auntie Lucy,
Auntie Laurie, Uncle Gary & Jamie. I really enjoyed going
swimming every day and playing in the sand.

My Christening
I was christened
at St John the Baptist's Church in Mexborough. We all
celebrated the occasion afterwards at the George and Dragon
pub just down the road. The weather was wonderful and everyone
had a great day. I was very happy all day as there were so
many new people to meet! Here are some photos of my special
day!

My First
Pair of Real Shoes

Mummy and Daddy have bought my first real pair of shoes today,
they're lovely crawling shoes from Clarks and I love them. I
even tried to eat them! I can go extra fast in them!

Trip
to Sundown Adventureland

Mummy and I went to Sundown with Auntie Laurie, Uncle Gary,
and cousin Jamie for the day. We had a wonderful time and I
went on a seesaw for the first time.

I also went on a slide with Jamie, and my mummy took me on the
swings.

Mummy and Daddy and I went to visit Gran and Grandpa for
Daddy's birthday. We had a lovely couple of days there and I
enjoyed playing with the bubbles from the bubble gun they had

Caravan
Holiday in Ripon
Nana and Grandad took me with them to Ripon to stay in the
caravan. Auntie Laurie, Uncle Gary and cousin Jamie also came
along. We had fun playing in the park and on the grass, and

My First
Teeth:
My first tooth came through on the 6th of
September, followed on the 9th by my second tooth! I love my
new teeth, but at first I didn't show anyone as I liked to
hide them with my tongue! My third tooth showed up on the 2nd
of October.

Simon
and Sarah's Wedding

My godfather Simon and his fiancée Sarah had a lovely wedding.
Mummy and Daddy took me along to celebrate the day with them.
We had a fabulous day and I was given a gift of a great wooden
train, which I played with when I got home.

Visit to
Chester Zoo
Mummy and Daddy took me to Chester Zoo,
with Gran and Grandpa. We saw lots of wonderful animals, and I
saw my name on the adopters board for some monkeys. I enjoyed
the zoo and can't wait to go back again when I'm bigger.

My First Hallowe'en Party

I went to my first Hallowe'en party on 30th October 2005 with
my Mummy and Daddy, Nanna and Grandad, Auntie Laurie, Uncle
Gary and Cousin Jamie. We had a wonderful time dancing at the
disco and I wore my new pumpkin outfit that Nanna bought for
me.

Cousin Ethan's 1st Birthday

Mummy and Daddy took me along to Ethan's 1st birthday party,
where we stayed with Gran and Grandpa. It was a Pirate theme
and Uncle Stew, Auntie Helen and Ethan were all wearing pirate
fancy dress costumes. I had one too and everyone thought I
looked great!

My First Christmas
My first christmas
was a very busy one. Mummy cooked dinner and Nana and Grandad came over
with Auntie Amy and Auntie Lucy, and Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary also
came. Gran and Grandpa travelled down and stayed for a couple of days so
they came to celebrate with us too. Everyone brought me lots of gifts, and
it took a long time to open them all between my naps but we all had a
wonderful day

My
First Birthday
After Christmas dinner, we started on my birthday celebrations. I had lots
more gifts to open and then we had a lovely tea party. After tea I played
with some of my new toys before bedtime, then Mummy & Daddy had a huge job
trying to figure out where they were going to keep all my new things
before they could finally get to bed.

Year's Eve

I celebrated the New Year with Mummy, Daddy, Nana, Grandad, Auntie

hat.

My
Birthday Party
Mummy and Daddy arranged a lovely birthday party for me after the
excitement of Christmas had died down. We had the party at Ali Bongo's
play gym where there were lots of cool soft play areas to play in. We also
had a lovely tea party with sandwiches and buns and lots of other yummy
food. All my grandparents came, and Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary and
Jamie, and Auntie Lucy and Auntie Amy.

My New Aquarium
Mummy and Daddy bought me a cool Spongebob
Squarepants aquarium for my new goldfish to live in. It has a little
Spongebob that blows bubbles, and the fish love bubbles. I love to watch
my fish swimming around and its my favourite word at the moment! I still
need to think up names for them though

My First Haircut
Mummy and Daddy
thought that the back of my hair was getting a bit long, so they decided
it was time to give me a trim. Mummy used Daddy's hair clippers to shorten
the back of my hair a bit, after cutting off a nice lock to put into my
Baby Record Book. It took a while as I kept trying to see what was going
on, but after a lot of work, and only a tiny bit of hair taken off, I was
all finished and looking much neater.

My First Train Ride
Mummy and Nana and Auntie Laurie took me
shopping to Leeds today and instead of going in the car we decided to go
on the train. I really liked travelling on the train and saw lots of
interesting things out of the windows. I liked standing on the seat and
watching out of the window.

My New Backpack

Mummy bought me a really cool backpack today. Its the perfect size for me
and I can now carry my own bear and cereal bar when we go for a walk.
Mummy carries my drink for me though as its a little too heavy and makes
me walk funny. There's a little handle on top of the bag so Mummy can
steer me and a clip on rein so I don't go off on my own.

Animal Noises

Mummy and Daddy taught me some animal noises this week... my favourites
are cat (which I learned by copying Fudge and Rocky), snake, dog and lion.
Everyone likes my lion impression the best as I open my mouth very wide
and say ARRRGGGHHH and they all think I look very cute! I can also do a
duck and a dragon (which is the same as lion, but makes Daddy laugh).

A New Fish For Me

Unfortunately one of my fishies got a little bit poorly and had to go to
the big fishpond in the sky. So Mummy and Daddy bought me a new fish, but
he's very small compared to my other. The bigger fishy looks after him
very well though and shows him out to get the tastiest bits of food from
their plants, and they are now very good friends.

My First Big Tooth
I got another new tooth today... a big one at
the back. So far they've all been pretty easy through, but this one was a
bit of a monster, I was a bit grumpy for a few days. But I'm fine now and
hopefully will get some more teeth soon. I've got 7 now.

Cousin Charlie's Birthday Party
I went to Charlie's 3rd birthday party today and
had a wonderful time. It was a fancy dress party so I got to wear my
pirate costume again (although it was getting a bit small for me - I think
it was the last time I'll get to wear it) and again everyone thought it
looked so cute! There was a clown who made me laugh and clap, and lots of
yummy food. I made friends with another little boy who was nearly my age
and we shared some Wotsits and grapes.

Today I Made a Mess
Mummy let me play in my nursery for a while today on my own, whilst
she did some painting in the bathroom next to my room. I had lots of fun
emptying drawers and shelves, I made a bit of a mess though. Mummy said
although it was the first time I'd trashed my room, she was sure it
wouldn't be the last... but I'm not sure what she meant.

My New Booster Seat

Mummy and Daddy bought me a booster seat today so that I can sit at the
big table when I have a snack or when I want to draw pictures. I tried it
out colouring some lovely pictures. I think its great because it makes me
feel like such a grown up boy!

Tooth Number Ten
My tenth tooth made an official appearance today. It seemed to be such a
long wait after number six came through before anymore showed up... but
now I have grown 4 teeth in just a couple of weeks. Mummy says I'm
dangerous now! These big teeth come in very handy when I'm eating as I can
manage anything now!

Playing in the Garden

Mummy let me play outside on my own today. I ran around the garden asking
Mummy what all the different things I could see were. I also had fun
crawling under the bench. I played for so long that I eventually got very
tired and laid down in the grass for a rest... so Mummy came out and
brought me in for a nap.

New Pyjamas

Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary bought me some Thomas the Tank Engine pyjamas
and now the weather is a bit warmer I wore them for bed tonight. I think
they're great and like to point to the pictures on them and tell my Mummy
and Daddy that I can see a Choo choo. Mummy thinks I look adorable in PJs.

Weekend in Ingoldmells
I went to Ingoldmells for Easter weekend to stay with Nana and Grandad in
their new caravan. I took some of my favourite toys and had lots of fun. I
even got to sleep on a proper bed in the caravan with a special guard up
to stop me falling out (or escaping!) I had a walk by the sea and Nana
pushed my monkey in the pram so he didn't get tired. There were some ducks
at the caravan site and I liked to watch them walking all around. On our
last night we went to the pub and Grandad let me press the buttons on the
bandit machines, which he said I was very good at.

I got some lovely presents for Easter including a Pocoyo DVD and toys,
some new pyjamas and some lovely easter eggs.

Petting Farm
Mummy and I went to Wentworth Garden Centre
petting farm today with my new friend Chloe and her mummy Amanda. I saw
lots of animals, including some calves, pigs, sheep, goats and ponies,
chickens and rabbits. I learned to say "sheep" and I liked watching the
pigs. I also went for a ride on a mini tractor and watched Mummy feed some
of the animals.

My New Playtent

My Granny and Grandpa bought me a cool playtent for an Easter present and
Daddy used his big tent pegs to hold it down in the garden for me to play
in. I had lots of fun reading in my tent out of the bright sun.

Back to Sundown Adventureland
Mummy and Daddy took me back to Sundown Adventureland today. I had lots of
fun playing in the little houses there and riding on the go-karts. Daddy
also had a lot of fun as he's never been there before.

Holiday in Newquay
Mummy and Daddy, Nannan and Grandad, Auntie
Laurie, Uncle Gary, Jamie and I all went on a camping holiday to Newquay. I
stayed in the caravan with Nannan, Grandad and Jamie, and Mummy, Daddy, Laurie and Gary all stayed in a tent next door. We had a lovely
time, visiting the beach, the zoo and Newquay. We liked it so much we're
going to go again next year. Uncle Stew, Auntie Helen and Ethan also came to see us while we were there and we all played on the
beach

Auntie Laurie & Uncle Gary Get Married
Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary got married, and I
was a pageboy. Jamie and I had little suits that matched Uncle Gary's and
so did Daddy who was an Usher, and Grandad. Mummy and Auntie Amy and
Auntie Lucy were all bridesmaids. It was a fantastic day and everyone
looked wonderful. They had lovely cars to take them to the church and
reception and the driver let me have a go!

Moving House
Mummy and Daddy and I moved to our new house today. I think our new house
is wonderful as there's lots of space for me to play and a nice big
garden, and I can see a very long way from Mummy and Daddy's bedroom

Its Christmas... and my 2nd Birthday!
I've been so excited after reading the new book
my Mummy bought me all about Christmas. I got lots of lovely presents on
Christmas morning, including some trains, a piano, some new pyjamas and a
dressing gown.

I got lots more lovely presents for my birthday
and we had a tea party later on that day. I really liked my hedgehog
birthday cake, but was a bit scared when the candles were lit.

My Birthday Party
I had a really fun birthday party at Ali Bongo's today. Lots of my friends

My New Bed
I'm such a big boy now that I have now got my own proper bed! Its just the
right size for me and Mummy and Daddy are going to buy me some lovely
bedding with spiders and beetles on it to make it all very special for me!
I've even got a spider rug too!

Thomas the Tank Engine
I love Thomas the Tank Engine, so with my Christmas vouchers from Granny
and Grandpa I bought some new trains and a special Thomas bed for when we
go camping. I love playing with my trains and I'm very good at remembering

My New Cousins
Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary's new babies arrived today. They are so tiny.
Their names are Sophie Rose and Chloe Anne. Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary

My Day Out With Thomas
Mummy, Daddy, Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary took me to see Thomas the Tank
Engine at Elsecar Heritage Centre. We had a lovely day and I got to see
Thomas taking some passengers and had my photo taken with Mavis, my
favourite Diesel engine. I also bought some new trains - Molly and James -
to go with my others.

Wonderpants!
I'm a big boy now as I've learned to use my potty when I need to. So Mummy
and Daddy said they were very proud of me for being so clever and that I
could have some special underpants. We went shopping and I got some Thomas
the Tank Engine pants, some Bob The Builder underpants and some with bugs
on them (I like the caterpillar best). I feel very grown up now that I get
to wear pants all the time and my Mummy calls them my Wonderpants.

My Train Set
Mummy took me to buy some bridges to add to my train set and when we got

Camping in Flamborough
Mummy and Daddy have bought us a huge new tent for our holidays so we
decided to go camping to Flamborough with Nannan & Grandad, who came along
in their caravan. The tent was great and I got to sleep in my Thomas the
Tank Engine bed. We had a really nice time and I can't wait to go camping
again!

Sophie & Chloe's Christening
I really liked the church and it was nice seeing my new cousins
christened. I looked very smart in my new outfit and Sophie and Chloe had
beautiful dresses. Afterwards we had a party and I got to spend lots of

Cutting The Grass

Family Day Out
Mummy, Daddy and I went to Sundown Adventureland and had a wonderful time
playing in the sand and riding go-carts. I also played on a truck and a
train and enjoyed the boat ride where Daddy got splashed by an octopus
hiding in the trees!

My New Car
When I go to playgroup I always like playing with the big cars best, so
Mummy and Daddy have bought me one of my own. Its red like my Daddy's new
car too, which makes it extra special!

Our Holiday in Newquay
I love camping, so I was very excited when we got to spend two weeks in
our tent in Newquay. Nannan and Grandad were next door in their caravan
with Auntie Laurie, Uncle Gary, Jamie and the twins, and Auntie Lucy and
Uncle Craig stayed in our tent with us. We had a wonderful time and I
especially loved the beach.


My favourite part of the holiday
was when we visited the Lappa Valley Railway and I got to ride on some of
the steam trains. The black engine called Muffin was my favourite and I
loved having my photo taken with it.

Photographs
Mummy and Auntie Laurie thought it would be nice to take some photos of me
and my cousins Jamie, Sophie and Chloe all together. It was a long
afternoon as we all kept getting a bit bored, but eventually we got some

Playgroup Christmas Party
Our Scallywags Playgroup held a Christmas party for us all today and it
was lovely. We had lots of delicious food and cakes, and then Enid told us
all the story of the nativity using knitted dolls. We all really enjoyed
it. After the nativity story, we had a big surprise when Father Christmas
came and brought us all a present. I got a book and a frog and we had our
photo taken with Father Christmas

Christmas and my 3rd Birthday
I woke up to find that Father Christmas had eaten the milk and cookies we
had left out for him and had left me some fantastic presents. There was a
stocking full of trains at the end of my bed and lots of wonderful gifts
under the Christmas tree. One of my favourite presents was my digger!


After I had opened all my
presents we had went to visit my Nannan and Grandad, and then went to
Auntie Laurie and Uncle Gary's house for a lovely Christmas dinner. After
dinner we went back to our house to have a tea party so I could open some
of my birthday presents, but I'd had so many presents I couldn't manage
them all so we saved some for Boxing Day. Mummy and Daddy had bought me a
great racing car birthday cake and I enjoyed blowing out the big candle!

Birthday Party
As Jamie's birthday is so close to mine, Mummy and Auntie Laurie decided
to throw us a big party together. We invited all our friends and had lots
of fun playing and eating our dinner. After dinner I got another birthday
cake in the shape of a T.A.R.D.I.S and Jamie got a Chelsea FC birthday
cake. Later Jamie had his face painted, but I didn't like it, so I went to
play instead.

My First Day at School
I was very excited about my first day at Nursery School. I had already met
my teachers, who remembered teaching Auntie Amy and Auntie Lucy, and they
are both lovely. I put on my new uniform and Mummy and Daddy both agreed
that I looked very smart.

I settled in very well from
the beginning and enjoyed meeting new friends, and playing with children I
knew from Playgroup. In fact I enjoyed my first day so much (and the rest
of my first week) that I got very upset when I had to go home. Once I
realised that I got to go back every day though I was happier and didn't
mind coming home to tell Mummy and Daddy all about my day.

Sophie & Chloe's First Birthday Party
Sophie and Chloe invited me to their first birthday party, which I really
enjoyed. Jamie and I played whilst Sophie and Chloe played with their
friends and then we all had a lovely tea party. Jamie and I had to help
Sophie and Chloe blow out their candles too.

My New Fish
Unfortunately my goldfish Bob died recently, so Mummy and Daddy asked if I
would like another fish. I said that I wanted a red fish, like a fire
engine, so Mummy looked everywhere to find me one. I decided to call him
George and soon he will be moving into a new tank in my bedroom. I can't
wait and I go to check on him every morning after I get up.

My Baby Brother
Mummy and Daddy took me along to see the scan of my new baby brother who
is due in August. I enjoyed watching the doctor use his special camera to
check my brother was all ok and I asked Daddy lots of questions about what
was happening, but I made sure that I whispered quietly. Afterwards the
doctor said I'd been a very good boy and gave us some special photos of my
baby brother. I told Mummy and Daddy that I'd like to call my baby brother
George The Steam Roller when he arrives. I'm very excited about meeting my
brother when he's grown enough to leave Mummy's tummy.

Bank Holiday in Ingoldmells
Mummy and I went to visit Nannan and Grandad at their caravan in
Ingoldmells. Auntie Laurie, Uncle Gary, Sophie and Chloe came along too
and we had a lovely weekend. I got to ride on a donkey for the first time,
and although I was nervous at first I loved it! I also rode the train back
from the beach with Nannan and Grandad. Mummy, Daddy and I are going for a
short holiday in Ingoldmells later this month and I'm looking forward to
riding the donkeys again and going to see the rabbit I made friends with.

My First Swimming Award
Over the Easter holidays I went on a swimming course with my friend Luke
and we really enjoyed it. The teacher said that we had done very well and
at the end of the course we were awarded our Ducklings Level One swimming
award. It arrived today and I've got a certificate with my name on and a
badge. Mummy and Daddy are very proud of me.

My New Bike
I got my first proper bike today. Mummy and Nannan and Auntie Laurie took
me to the bike shop to have a look at all the bikes. I tried a few out and
chose a lovely bright red one with a juice bottle on the back. I love my
new bike and ride it everywhere. I'm very good at going fast, but Mummy
says I need to get better at using the brakes.

Party!
Today I went to a party. One of my friends from school invited me to her
birthday party and as it was fancy dress Mummy and Daddy bought me a new
costume to wear. I really like pretending to be a pirate so they got me a
pirate captain's costume and I thought it was great. Nannan and Grandad
said I looked wonderful.

Meet Spencer
Today, Mummy & Daddy bought me a rabbit and a hutch for him to live in. I
decided to call him Spencer after one of my favourite trains and Mummy is
showing me how to look after him properly. Every day I help to get his
food and water, and I stroke his nose whilst Mummy holds him so that he
gets used to me, but I have to be very gentle with him as he's only a baby
at the moment.

Amanda and Brendan's Wedding
Today was Amanda and Brendan's wedding day. Mummy, Daddy and I got all
dressed up to go along for their big day. I looked very smart in my shirt
and tie, and I had lots of fun dancing at the reception with their
daughter Chloe.

My New Baby Brother Is Here!
Today, my baby brother was born. His name is Oliver James Morgan and I
think he's wonderful. Mummy and Daddy let me hold him, but I have to be
very careful with him as he's only tiny. I bought him a suit that says
"I'm the little brother" on the front and he bought me a T-Shirt that says
"I'm the big brother" on the front. We both wore them when I went to visit
my Mummy and Oliver in the hospital. Mummy has made Oliver a website like

Swimming
During half term, Mummy and Daddy booked me onto another swimming crash
course. I had a lesson every day for a week and on the last day I got my
Ducklings Level Two award. I got another badge and a certificate. Mummy
and Daddy are very proud of me.

Hallowe'en
Mummy and Daddy took me to a Hallowe'en party today. I wore my new
skeleton fancy dress costume and Oliver dressed up in a bat costume. We
had a very good time, but we had to leave a bit early as I wasn't feeling
well. It turned out later that I had chicken pox, but I enjoyed myself
anyway.
